Breakfast
Start your day with a leisurely breakfast in our first floor breakfast room with its magnificent views of the coastal and mountain scenery of Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland fells. Alternatively, for those who may have difficulty with stairs, breakfast can be taken in our ground floor lounge where equally stunning views of the Bay can be enjoyed.
At the Wimslow we try our best to cater for individual tastes, so if you like your bacon crispy or your eggs ‘over easy’ or well done, just let us know.
We offer a broad range of breakfast foods to satisfy most tastes and appetites. For a light bite you might try our pancakes with maple syrup or honey, scrambled or poached eggs, cereals, or toast and preserves. For a more substantial dish try our ‘Full English’ breakfast of bacon, fried free-range egg, Slacks Cumberland sausage, with plum tomatoes, beans, and toast.
Quorn sausages are offered as a vegetarian alternative but if you do have other vegetarian preferences feel free to let us know in advance and we will gladly accommodate as best we can. We also offer soya or rice milk, as well as gluten-free bread for those with wheat and dairy allergies; again if you have an alternative preference to these, just let us know.
