The Wimslow Booking Terms and Conditions 

Thank you for choosing to book with The Wimslow.   We look forward to welcoming you. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below. 

Pets – Sorry, we do not allow pets at this property.
Acceptance of Children – Sorry, we do not allow children at this property. 

Cancellation and Insurance 
By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable.  A deposit of one nights B&B, or 25% of the total cost for the stay (which ever is the greater) is required to secure each room.

If you cannot take your holiday and the booking cannot be re-let, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even if we have not yet received your balance. We are sorry but, as a business we cannot afford to take the financial burden of other peoples change in circumstances, however unfortunate they might be.

But if we do succeed in re-letting the booking, you will no longer be liable for the balance.  If the balance has already been paid we will refund it to you and we will not charge an admin fee for this.  

However, please note that your actual initial deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. We would recommend that you take out cancellation insurance (please have a look on the internet or speak to an insurance broker). 

Non-availability of Accommodation 
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation.  If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund. 

Arrival
Your accommodation will be available to you from 5pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged (please refer to our arrival information on the website for more information). We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time as we will be busy preparing rooms etc. Please ensure you contact us no later than 7pm to let us know if you will be arriving late.  Failure to notify us may result in the room being re-let or the full cost of the room being charged to your credit card.  

Departure
Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 10am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. 

Damages and Breakages and No Smoking Policy
This is a No Smoking property.  Anyone found to have smoked in any part of the building will be asked to leave immediately.  There will also be a soiling charge of £100 to cover the extensive sanitisation required to freshen and eradicate the smell of smoke.  

Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you cause, to the accommodation or its contents. All we ask is that you report any incidents as they occur.  We accept usual wear and tear of the fabric of the building, but any damage and/or soiling of rooms and communal areas will be charged for at the full amount of repair, or replacement plus the time incurred to put right these damages. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair, or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge of £80 if you did not report this. 

Personal Conduct
We reserve the right to terminate Your booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where You engage in unacceptable behavior, or cause nuisance and/or disturbance to other guests.  

Hen And Stag Groups
We do not accept Hen and/or Stag groups. If your booking is found to be a Hen or Stag group at any time during your stay, the booking will be terminated immediately on the basis of your misrepresentation and no refund will be given.   To book for any other single-sex groups please contact us by phone.    

Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment. 

Privacy Policy
Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer(s).  We will not share your details with any third party.
